Dishwashers, Root Canals and Pain, OH MY!

I have been without my dishwasher since May 25th, that equates to 44 days of torture.  I know many of you don't have dishwashers and can't really feel sorry for me.  However, I am going to try to gain your sympathy here.  I have four children and a husband.  Is it working yet?  All right so the husband isn't really the problem he generally cleans up after himself but the kids, not so much.  Not only do the children not clean up after themselves, they think it is necessary to use a different cup, dish or utensil everytime they get a refill. Is that really necessary?  I think not but how do you make them understand that?  I mean HELLO? I have a child who has an imaginary pink dinosaur friend for crying out loud!

I called Electrolux today and couldn't help but laugh when the recording stated, "The Electrolux dishwasher..it's silence is creating quite a buzz!"  Okay, try and tell me that's not funny?  Yeah, my dishwasher is silent all right! In conclusion, when I talked to the customer service rep. she offered me yet another service call or a rebate starting at 50% on a new dishwasher since the warranty has expired.  Hmmmmm...starting at 50%?  Do you mind explaining that to me Carissa?  I could barely hear her tell me to accept the 50%, think about it for a day or to and call back and say that it wasn't enough (CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH).  Evidently, I can get a rebate of up to 75% off.  As much as I hate to have to spend the money, I can not live without a dishwasher and after 4 repairs in a year I don't see the point in one more.  It is not the dishwasher I bought.

Root canal - I am in pain.  It hurt like crazy when the novacaine wore off. The tooth was so abscessed that I have to go back in two weeks so he can finish it.  WOOT WOOT!!! I know you all are jealous right now. To make things worse, the tooth right next to it (#15, for those of you who are dying to know) is also abscessed.  Quite frankly I am seriously considering just having it pulled out because as you may remember from a previoius blog - I AM OUT OF DENTAL BENEFITS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!

On a brighter note, my bestie, Michelle,  is back from her trip to Tennessee and I can't wait to see her!

Now, I am going to go take a shower since I spent the day at Miller Pool and have something blue all over my back from said pool.  I guess when you pay $3.00 a person to get in this is what you get! LOL  Oh well, I got to swim and enjoy the sun one last time before I get my new tattoo tomorrow.
